DITECH National Coordinators’ Meeting and Current Issues
On April 1, 2022, a meeting of the National Coordinators of the EU Erasmus + project DITECH was held, at which the following issues related to the progress of the project were discussed: the training readers created within the project and the issue of their editing; the issue of dissemination of the DITECH project at the international conference initiated by Telavi Iakob Gogebashvili State University; the issue of dissemination of the DITECH project at the international conference "Information and Software Technologies" initiated by Kaunas University of Technology; study visits to the universities of Tallinn and Kaunas; pilot launch issues in terms of topic integration in separate disciplines.
DITECH coordinators meeting
On February 25, 2022, a meeting of the coordinators of Georgian and EU universities of the EU project DITECH took place to discuss the progress made during the first year of the project and the Progress Report Project Year 1 by the external evaluator Barbara Rosenstein.
The project partners gave an overview of the results achieved by the project and it was observed that the project activities have been carried out according to the previously planned work plan and schedule.
DITECH coordinators meeting with external evaluator on progress report
On January 10, 2022, a meeting of the coordinators of Georgia and EU universities of the EU project DITECH and the external evaluator Barbara Rosenstein took place to discuss the progress report provided by the external evaluator. Barbara Rosenstein had analysed the Information and Knowledge Management Strategy and Plan, Quality Management Strategy and Plan and Risk Management Strategy and Plan. She found that these three documents reviewed for this report reflect the dedication and deep thinking of the authors and provide a firm basis for project success.
Next meeting of the dissemination group
The main purpose of the workshop was to discuss the Newsletter preparation process planned under the project. The material should be published by the end of 2021, so the group members discussed detailed issues at the meeting: Specifically, this is a selection of materials and activities to be published, as many activities have been carried out under the project this year. Dissemination team members selected activities relevant to the project for publication. Attention was paid to issues of Newsletter format, volume, design and time of publication.
DITECH Concept at the I Georgian National Scientific Forum "Covid-19 in the 2021 Georgian Reality"
On December 20-21, 2021, at the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science, the first National Scientific Forum "Covid-19 in the reality of 2021 Georgia" was held. The Forum was opened by the Minister of Education and Science, Mr. Mikheil Chkhenkeli, who noted that the National Science Forum has been established and will be held annually with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
Working meeting of representatives of Georgian universities and institutions involved in the project
The purpose of the workshop was to update the planned deadlines for submitting Georgian versions of readers for undergraduate and graduate courses / syllabi created within the project. Discussions were held on the state of readiness of both syllabi readers, uploading them to the appropriate folders in the MOODLE databases integrated on the official web site of the project.
The working meeting WP.4-DISS administration of the official website and online platform
On December 9, 2021, a meeting of the coordinators of Georgia and EU universities of the EU project DITECH took place to discuss issues related to the and the electronic platform of the project. The main question was who should have the right to edit on the electronic platform and what materials should be publicly available on the public website under the activities and results section if the project is still in its beginning stage.

On December 1, 2021, the next meeting of the Coordinators of Georgian and EU universities of the EU project DITECH was held to discuss the issues regarding the official website of the project, site administration, and management.
The meeting was chaired by Daina Gudoniene, a professor of the Kaunas University of Technology.
Dissemination group meeting
Dissemination group meeting (Sokhumi State University; National Center for Teacher Professional Development). Issues related to the translation of the Georgian version of the official website of the project were discussed at the meeting. As well as newsletter issues.
The meeting also discussed issues such as the collection of completed versions of the report forms developed by the dissemination group on dissemination activities carried out by specific universities and institutions throughout the year.
DITECH welcoming an external evaluator
Barbara Rosenstein, Ph.D. has practiced, taught, and written about program evaluation for 35 years. She has evaluated projects that involved multicultural and marginalized groups and has conducted many participatory evaluations of projects that promote social justice in the fields of education, social welfare, and social enterprise.
She has served as the external evaluator for several European Union Projects; DEMO, ProTeach and ProMentor.
